The WPIM-S/T provides ISDN 128 Kbps Basic Rate Interface (BRI) in a backup or fail-over capacity for the CSX400, HSIM-W6, or other devices in which the WPIM-S/T can be installed. The WPIM-S/T provides an ISDN back-up link for a remote site or branch office when the primary connection for a frame relay or leased line is lost or becomes disabled. The capability of the WPIM-S/T is 128 Kbps when both B Channels are active.
